Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been a hot subject of discussion in the last few years, and we gradually see how AI-based elements can penetrate our daily lives. Whether it is self-driving cars or wise audio speakers, AI is present in almost everything. A more profound observation allows us to see how much we rely on innovation & digitization. It is palpable that there will always be organizations or individuals willing to take advantage of this trust. Therefore, the requirements for “Cybersecurity” are skyrocketing.

In today’s digital world, cybersecurity is as necessary as regular security, like; locking the door when you leave. Cybersecurity means security measures like using robust passwords and avoiding malicious clicks on links containing malware. Security is a significant issue for all, including individuals, organizations, and even the government. Many organizations and Federal departments have incorporated Artificial Intelligence into their systems to provide better data security and smooth operations.

Artificial intelligence is a powerful tool that, if used properly, can bring great convenience to the cybersecurity industry. Two factors that draw the line between humans and intelligent machines are speed and automation. For example, Big data scientists need to spend a lot of time analyzing data and retrieving information. On the other hand, machines can perform the same calculations and provide information within a few seconds.

Let’s get back to the topic & let’s talk about automation as a weapon that can automatically detect and eliminate threats without manual intervention. Artificial intelligence can simplify complex processes and achieve more powerful cybersecurity models. Let’s pinpoint another aspect of a safe digital future — Data Deception.

This will allow us to detect, analyze and repel intruders by predicting and misleading them. On combining machine learning with application isolation, a solid foundation for malware detection can be formed that will fill the gaps and prevent the spread of malware with the promise of no data compromise.

Another area where artificial intelligence will flourish when it comes to cybersecurity in the future is identity verification and password protection. In a world where social engineering practices are increasing, a safer alternative is needed to protect passwords. Therefore, in the future, artificial intelligence used for fingerprint recognition, retinal scanners, etc., is going to be the only safer option.

When AI Encounters Cybersecurity — The Challenge Lies Ahead:

More power comes with more responsibility. Since AI is a powerful tool, it needs to be used responsibly. If you have read about the financial damages due to cyber attacks in the past few years, you will realize that cyber attacks have become more robust and complex over time.

Everyone should keep this fact in mind that with the rising use of AI, cyber attackers will also use the same artificial intelligence unethically to disrupt the system through automated attacks which will be more complex to defend. Artificial Intelligence conducts an in-depth analysis of victims by analyzing their online behavior and predict wealth through the willingness to trade online.

You can gauge how difficult this situation is. This modern-day digital situation demands immediate security measures.
